Collecting Cans 4 a Cause!

The Reserve has joined part in the race to collect as many cans possible to help out the Cans 4 Casey organization! Casey is an SIU alum and Carbondale resident that has disabilites and is financial distress due to the reinstatement of his student loan debt. The goal for the organization is to collect enough cans to pay off Casey's financial debt. Find out more about Casey's story at http://cans4casey.org.

They aren't asking for handouts, just that you donate your cans to a good cause! This involves a little recycling, keeping trash in one bag and your cans in another... And, as they say, "One man's trash is another man's treasure" ... which in this case comes at 60 cents per pound of aluminum!

Over all, Casino Night was a huge success! 150 plus people came out to The Reserve Clubhouse to partake in the fun! CILFM was also here giving a live remote broadcast. Along with the casino games, everyone enjoyed free pizza, drinks, a magician, a tarot card reader, and even a hypnotist! The Reserve gave away a 32" LCD HDTV, a Blu-ray Home Theater System, a Blu-ray player, & a Comedy movie bucket! All four prizes were won by RESIDENTS! 

Casino Night at The Reserve

Casino Night is here again! So, mark your calendars for February 19th, grab your lady luck, and get ready for a night of food, fun, and friends! The DJ and registration starts at 5:30 with the first card being dealt at 6PM. Everyone is invited so spread the word to everyone you know! After all, who doesn't love free food and a little bit of gambling (just for fun, of course.) The Casino Night will be located in The Reserve clubhouse and will feature everything from Roulette, Texas Hold 'Em, Craps, Blackjack, a Tarot Card Reader, and even a Hypnotist!

Some other items to look forward to this month at The Reserve include:

• February 6: Super Bowl showing in the Clubhouse Theater! Honestly, who doesn't want to watch the big game on a movie screen? :)
• February 7-20:  The Renewal Survey begins! This should come to your e-mail account if you are a current Reserve resident! Be sure to fill this out so you can be entered into the drawing to win a free iPad and/or a $100 Fujiama Gift Card!
• February 16: "The Importance of Renters Insurance" seminar hosted by State Farm will be held in the Clubhouse Theater at 6PM. This seminar will be beneficial for all Reserve residents, not to mention the FREE Quatro's, Arnie's Subs, and Soda!
