 Finals Week is here, along with the late night cram sessions, stress, and little or no sleep! The Reserve is here to help! Stop by the clubhouse on Wednesday, December 15th at 2:30 pm for a Caffeine Break! We will be providing free redbull, soda, and snacks as well as a place to come relax, have fun and forget about the stress of finals week!

...and BINGO was the game-o

B-I-N-G-O, and BINGO was the game-o!

The Reserve at Saluki Pointe's version of BINGO has begun! Every apartment has been hand delivered a Bingo card (if your apartment didn't get one, be sure and let us know!) Every morning a BINGO number will be drawn and then displayed on the clubhouse door for everyone to see. Residents are supposed to then mark the number off of their cards until they get BINGO, or five numbers marked off in a row. We are playing the game until the end of Finals week, December 17th and calling at least one number per day! Prizes will be awarded first come, first served, so hurry in once you've gotten Bingo so we can check your card and give your apartment their prize!

The Reserve sponsors 2011 Polar Plunge!

The Reserve at Saluki Pointe has teamed with other local business to sponsor the 2011 Polar Plunge! All proceeds of this event benefit Special Olympics Illinois. This is the 1st Annual Polar Plunge at Southern Illinois University. The event is taking place on March 5, 2011 at Noon at SIU Campus Lake.
SIUC is one of 18 locations in 2011 to host the event!

Registration begins at 11 a.m. and anyone can plunge!
A minimum donation of $75 dollars is required.

All plungers receive a free hoodie and lunch!

Well, Thanksgiving has come and gone, and here we are getting ready to welcome the month of December! To go along with a new month, The Reserve is introducing a new renewal special! If a current resident chooses to renew their lease before December 31, 2010 they will receive the following rates as well as a $75 Visa Gift Card!

2 bedroom- $530

3 bedroom- $480

4 bedroom- $440

Breakfast on the GO!

Our amazing Community Assistants were here bright eyed and bushy tailed at 7 a.m. this morning willing and ready to help serve breakfast to our Residents for "Breakfast on the GO!"

With Residents waiting at the door when Breakfast was served, I can officially say "Breakfast on the GO!" was another successful Resident Appreciation Week event!

We had residents stopping by for Breakfast on the GO in their cars,

... by foot,

and even on BIKES! :) 

See, giving back can be fun! Thanks to all who participated!!!

Tomorrow we will finish off the week with Quatros Pizza delivered to our Residents doors! Be sure to call the office from 4-8 p.m. to get a FREE pizza for your apartment!

The Reserve takes over Buffalo Wild Wings!

Yesterday was the kick off to our Resident Appreciation Week at The Reserve! I must say, we started out our week long celebration with a bang! Last night The Reserve staff and over 300 residents joined together at Buffalo Wild Wings for some Wings, Appetizers, and Monday Night Football! With over 2,000 wings consumed and enough appetizers to feed an army, saying it was a success may be an understatement! We are so thankful for Buffalo Wild Wings and their amazing staff and for the patience of our residents while waiting in line for food! We are very excited so many of our Residents came out to the event and now we will be a little more prepared for when this event comes around next year!

Residents, don't forget about all the other events we have planned for the week!

Tonight (Tuesday) at 7PM in the Theatre we will be showing "Get Him to the Greek!" We will be providing drinks and popcorn!

Wednesday starting around 7AM we will be serving breakfast on the go! Stop by on your way to class, work, or on  your way back to bed and grab a sacked breakfast!

Thursday is the day we've all been waiting for! Quatros pizza delivered to your door! Sorry, only one per apartment though! 2 BR's get a Medium and 3 & 4 BR's get a Large! Call our office anytime from 4-8 PM to make your order! Pepperoni, Sausage, or Cheese!

November is a time for THANKS!

With Thanksgiving right around the corner, November seems like a good time to reflect and think of all the things we at The Reserve are thankful for! Here is something for every day of the month!

1. Our Residents!! If you didn't know, our residents ROCK!
2. Our Community Assistants! These friendly faces are the ones who greet you when you come visit us at The Reserve!
3. Fall/Spring-like weather... after all, who's really ready for winter?
4. SIU athletics! GO DAWGS!
5. Our On-site Courtesy Patrol for helping create a safe environment for ALL of us at The Reserve!
6. Being able to "GTL" all in one place! A 24-hour gym, free tanning, and a washer and dryer in EVERY unit! What other apartment communities can say that?
7. FREE parking! Yes, you read that right. Finally, a place in Carbondale where you DON'T have to worry about getting towed!
8. Resident Appreciation Week! We are thankful to have such great residents and for the chance to thank them with a week full of fun November 15th-18th.
9. Free Cappuccino. All day, every day!
10. The Saluki Express! A free, environmentally concious way to get to class... and who wants to drive around looking for a spot to park at SIU anyways?
11. OUR VETERANS!
12. Today we're thankful for weekends! We hope that everyone has a very HAPPY and SAFE weekend!

Resident Appreciation Week is almost here!

Here at The Reserve, we appreciate our residents! Throughout the year we like to host events in order to remind them just how important they are to us! Next week, November 15th-18th is Resident Appreciation Week!

The week breaks down as follows:

Monday
Monday Night Football at Buffalo Wild Wings! Residents are invited to come to BWW to watch the game, hang out with other residents, and of course to eat some FREE food! All of the fun starts at 7 PM at the Carbondale Buffalo Wild Wings!

Tuesday
Movie Night! We will be showing "Get Him to the Greek" in our movie theatre at 7PM. We will be serving popcorn and drinks in order to give the entire movie experience!

Wednesday
Breakfast on the go! Residents are encouraged to stop by the clubhouse on their way to school and pick up a sacked breakfast! We will start handing them out at 7 am until we run out!

Thursday
The day we've all been waiting for! The Reserve staff will deliver a Quatros Pizza to YOUR door! Call the office anytime from 4 until 8 pm. Every apartment can order 1 pizza; pepperoni, sausage, or cheese!

We just want to give a special THANK YOU to all of our residents!
